    GOVERNMENT RELATIONS MANAGER

     

    Job Summary

    The Government Relations Manager will establish and lead our onsite state authorities’ relations, initiatives, and thought partner opportunities. The Government Relations Manager is responsible for the successful execution of all external communications initiatives, processes, and services, and the development and delivery of corporate responsibility initiatives and programmers in support of the company’s business priorities in the country. 

     

    Qualifications and Requirements 

    • A good university degree. A 2nd degree in Communications or related field as an advantage.
    • Minimum 10 years’ working in corporate or government relations roles, with at least 5 years’ experience in the oil & gas industries and some significant level of international experience.
    • Politically non-partisan with significant contacts with key stakeholders in Ghana, including in government, NGOs, business and media, and strong networking skills, familiar with and sensitive to Ghanaian customs and practices.
