    FIELD AGENT

     

    Our client in the Transport sector based in Accra is seeking to recruit a Field Agent for an online taxi application company who will work directly with potential clients and drivers to facilitate their onboarding onto the platform. This role is critical for expanding the user base, building strong partnerships, and ensuring that both clients and drivers have a positive experience when joining the platform. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and sales capabilities.

     

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Identify and reach out to potential clients and drivers who might be interested in joining the platform. 
    • Utilize various channels such as phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, and networking events to establish initial contact.
    • Guide clients and drivers through the onboarding process, explaining the steps required to join the platform, submit necessary documents, and meet compliance requirements. 
    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the online taxi application, its features, benefits, pricing structure, and unique selling points. 
    • Deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, highlighting how the platform can meet their transportation needs efficiently. 
    • Negotiate terms and agreements with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership.
    • Source, interview, and onboard new drivers, explaining the benefits of driving for the platform, guiding them through the application process, and ensuring they meet all requirements.
    • Collect and verify necessary documents from clients and drivers to ensure they meet legal, regulatory, and platform-specific requirements.
    • Provide training to clients and drivers on how to effectively use the application, manage bookings, and navigate the driver interface.
    • Address any concerns or questions raised by clients and drivers during the onboarding process, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly. 
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and drivers, serving as a primary point of contact for ongoing support.
    • Gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform the company's strategies for client and driver acquisition. 
    • Monitor the progress of newly onboarded clients and drivers, assisting as needed to ensure their success on the platform.
    • Gather feedback from clients and drivers about their onboarding experience, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Generate reports on the number of new clients and drivers onboarded, their performance metrics, and any challenges faced during the process. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, and customer support, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients and drivers.  

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS 

    • A business-related degree from a recognized university and relevant Marketing professional qualifications. A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage. 
    • Three (3) years of prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is highly beneficial.
    • Experience in onboarding or recruitment is a plus, especially in the context of a tech-based platform. 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building positive relationships with potential clients and drivers.
    • Ability to actively listen, empathize, and effectively communicate information about the company's services and policies.
    • Familiarity with using mobile applications and basic knowledge of smartphone functionality is important, as this role involves onboarding users onto a digital platform.
    • Establish and maintain a network of relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups.
    • Ability to adapt to changes in the company's policies, procedures, or services, and to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
    • A valid driver’s license
    • Adherence to high ethical standards, especially when dealing with sensitive information and financial transactions.
