PLANNING & BUDGETING MANAGER

    Our client, a major player in the Oil & Gas industry is poised to expand its activities. To accelerate this vision, applications are invited from suitably qualified Ghanaians to fill the following critical positions.

    Job Summary

    Preparation, monitoring and controlling of budgets for the Ghana project. Budget model development and support. Preparation and reviewing of the Investment Program, monitoring and controlling of its fulfillment. Development, maintenance and updating of financial and economic models for projects in PIP format. Coordination of material preparation for decision-making on asset activities and development. Participation in cooperation with Banks and other financial institutions; Preparing supporting materials for Foreign Treasury and Banks Compliance. Participating in negotiations and communication with Banks; Preparing deviation reports in xls by month, quarter, and year. 

     

    Qualification Requirements

    • Master’s Degree in Economics/Finance
    • 5 years of progressively increasing experience with Budgeting responsibilities in Finance and Accounting in Oil & Gas
    • Knowledge of budgeting and investment planning processes and knowledge of accounting and managerial reporting
    • Budget planning methods and Financial and economic modeling
    • Oil and gas production processes, capital contraction of oil and gas field development facilities
    • Principles of building FEM for oil and gas assets
    • Petroleum Agreements, service contracts, and oil/gas production-related foreign tax legislation mechanisms
    • Financial statements analysis, Project Management, and Presentation skills
    • Analytical mind, systematic thinking
